O'Brien Construction and Renovations is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fabricate and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other woodwork.
- Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures.
- 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment.
