We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 1204310 B.C. LTD. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Assist with food service, including serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
