Position Summary

The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is seeking skilled Plumbers/Pipefitters to contribute to the development, commissioning, and operational phases of our Rare Earth Processing Facility. Opportunities for both regular and term positions are available, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for heating, water, process fluids, and drainage at SRC's Rare Earth Element facility.
• Interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications to ascertain the layout and materials necessary for installations.
• Procure materials essential for project execution.
• Engage in the commissioning and testing of piping systems and associated process equipment.
• Collaborate with third-party welding contractors for process pipe welding and fitting tasks.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Certified Red Seal Journeyperson designation in Plumbing or Pipefitting.
• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

• Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing assignments.
• Proficient troubleshooting capabilities.
