Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Attendant to join our team at Germain Hôtels. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues
  • Participate in preventive maintenance procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including interior and exterior work
  • Report any defective systems and make necessary corrections
  • Assist with material gathering and lifting, carrying, and placing objects
  • Responsible for maintaining all mechanical components of the building under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor
  • Perform minor electrical work, such as light bulb changes
  • Ensure that service manuals are followed during preventive maintenance, repair, or replacement of systems or components

Requirements

  • Experience in building maintenance
  • High school diploma or college diploma in mechanical technology or an equivalent is an asset
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 100 pounds without assistance
