Culinary Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Northern Motor Inn. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet guest demand.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure seamless service to our guests.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Recognized employer with a welcoming work environment.
