About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Risk Remediation Specialist to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our Identity Access Management (IAM) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital identities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remediate Digital Identity Security Risks: Identify and remediate digital identity security risks identified by security monitoring tools, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets.
- Collaborate with IAM Teams: Work closely with IAM teams to prevent identities from being configured with risky configurations or excessive privileges, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Develop Technical Specs: Create technical specifications for IAM security solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Support Security Engineering Teams: Collaborate with security engineering teams to develop and maintain automation for application security tasks, ensuring seamless integration with IAM systems.
- Provide Expertise: Share your expertise with technical teams, security engineering teams, and IAM teams to ensure effective decision-making and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree or college diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Industry Recognized Designation: Industry recognized Information Security designation (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM) is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Active Directory, Linux, and automation for application security tasks.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, security engineering teams, and IAM teams.

- Competitive Salary Range: $61,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
