We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Lens & Frames Optical Inc. As an Optical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of optical products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Supply Management: Maintain supplies, order supplies and equipment, and organize and maintain inventory to meet the needs of our optical laboratory.
- Statistical Analysis: Collect and analyze statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Clerical Support: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an optical laboratory setting, or equivalent experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, reliable, team player, and creativity.
