We are seeking a highly skilled Category Director to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Disability Management Quality and Training initiatives.

• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
• Provide strategic direction in planning, vendor management, product assortment, space allocations, pricing, and promotion to support overall group objectives.
• Implement product assortment, sales, and buying plans that meet customer needs and achieve category targets.
• Work collaboratively with the control label brand team to develop innovative and differentiated products that grow the brand and drive sales.
• Deliver against control label objectives to achieve annual sales, market share, and profit targets.
• Develop and communicate merchandising direction for each retail format for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with the vendor community to maximize sales and profit.
• Manage P&L statements and develop short- and long-term plans aligned with corporate strategies.
• Develop business insights and effectively communicate them to the business.

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements.
• Proven ability to develop short- and long-term plans in line with corporate strategies.
• Strong data management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
