About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Peer Support Specialist to join our team at FamilySmart. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Program Statistics: You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and inform future decisions.
  • Security and Safety: You will undergo a criminal record check to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, including efficient communication, judgment, and a strong sense of values and ethics.
  • Client Focus: You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
  • Team Player: As a member of our team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: We will provide training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Work Hours: 17.5 hours per week.
