Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Steele Foods Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Establish work schedules.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods and walking.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced coffee shop environment with a team of 5-10 people. The work schedule will be 30 to 40 hours per week.
