The Senior Financial Analyst role is integral to the Technology Finance Team, with a focus on managing the Wireless CAPEX portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Finance, the ideal candidate will utilize strong analytical and communication skills to ensure precise and timely CAPEX reporting.
This role is pivotal in the forecasting and variance analysis process, collaborating closely with various stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams. Additionally, the successful candidate will be involved in various ad-hoc special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial operations by preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries, forecasts, and budgets.
- Provide insights on financial results and key business indicators, driving continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Collaborate with key business partners and finance leadership, communicating essential trends, observations, and business impacts.
- Develop and prepare dashboards and scorecard reporting for management use, assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packages.
- Conduct month-end variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Assist in financial modeling and decision-making to support strategic initiatives.
- A university degree in a business-related field (preferably Accounting or Finance), with a professional accounting designation (CPA) or MBA.
- 3-5 years of progressive financial experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Confidence in engaging with senior leadership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with leadership in both business and finance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
