Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at I-WAY TRANSPORT INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing the classification and rating of occupations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage contracts and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide advice and guidance to senior management on HR-related matters
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve employee questions and complaints
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in HR management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
