About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our US Corporate Tax team at RSM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, including complex tax return preparation, planning, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns, including 1120s, 1065s, and 1120-F branch and treaty-based returns
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on tax planning and compliance matters
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax solutions
  • Manage and lead tax projects, including coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field of study
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on corporate tax
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, with experience in S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
  • Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740
  • Experience in dealing with international tax matters
