Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, including training and development.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing situations.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Standing for extended periods and walking as required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
