Casualty Claims Specialist

At Aviva, we're looking for a skilled Casualty Specialist to join our West Protect team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in investigating, evaluating, and settling moderate complexity casualty claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and confirm insurance coverage to ensure accurate claim resolution.
- Investigate and evaluate casualty claims, negotiating settlements in accordance with Aviva's procedures and philosophy.
- Direct and manage file investigations, instructing independent adjusters as needed to ensure timely and accurate file reserves.
- Proactively manage communication with customers and stakeholders, providing clear documentation and summaries of file activity.
- Understand and support Aviva's claim procedures and guidelines, regularly reviewing file strategy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience handling casualty claims, with a strong working knowledge of Personal and Commercial liability claims.
- University degree or equivalent, with CIP or working towards CIP.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed organizational skills, adaptability, flexibility, and integrity, with a commitment to being a team player.
