We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the health condition of patients and determine the best course of treatment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Provide emergency medical care and treatment to patients in critical condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in research activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and promoting health
- Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q
- College degree in Nursing
- ORBachelor of Science in Nursing or an undergraduate degree consisting of three (3) admissible certificates, of which two (2) are accredited certificates in Nursing
- Clinical experience in critical care or emergency department
- Fluent in English; Fluency in Cree or French is an asset
- Must succeed CTAS training; Must have CPR up-to-date
