We are looking for a proactive and skilled Project Management Officer to support our strategic efforts in advancing new nuclear initiatives.
As an integral part of our project management team, you will assist in steering new nuclear projects, managing various facets of project planning, development, and execution.
This position requires a forward-thinking individual with a solid background in the nuclear sector and a comprehensive grasp of strategic project management.
Strategic Oversight:
You will contribute to the formulation and implementation of detailed strategic plans for new nuclear initiatives, ensuring they align with our organizational objectives and adhere to industry standards.
Project Coordination:
You will support all stages of project development, from initial concept through to execution, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Relations:
You will help build and maintain connections with essential stakeholders, including governmental entities, regulatory organizations, industry collaborators, and local communities, to promote project success and address any arising issues.
Risk Assessment:
Identify potential challenges and uncertainties related to project execution and assist in developing strategies to mitigate their impact on project outcomes.
Team Support:
Provide supportive leadership to project teams, encouraging a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence in delivery.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for new nuclear initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost-efficient project execution.
Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure that all activities comply with relevant regulations and standards governing nuclear energy projects, upholding the highest levels of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline is required; at least 10 years of practical experience in supporting diverse projects, including construction, manufacturing, or engineering services projects.In-depth familiarity with nuclear energy technologies, regulations, and industry trends is essential.
Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years successfully guiding individuals and teams to meet project goals.
A thorough understanding of large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, including subcontracting, prime contract management, and supply chain dynamics is necessary.
Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions utilizing various analytical tools and methodologies.Working knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
