Job Description:

The School Psychologist is a key member of the District Staff, holding a position of special responsibility under the direction of the Director of Instruction, Learner Support, or designate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with district staff to develop and implement strategies that support student learning and well-being.
  • Provide psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation.
  • Work with teachers and other educators to develop and implement instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Participate in district-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes and support the development of a positive school culture.
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working in a school district setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
