Job Title: BENEFICIARY ATTENDANT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Attendant to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, well-being, and safety of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist users with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support and companionship to users
• Transport users within the facility and accompany them outside as needed
• Monitor users' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to management
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and supportive environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with vulnerable populations an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform duties of the position
