Your Role:
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic technical guidance and integration across diverse CMC products within the R&D Digital Technology domain.
- Managing and mentoring a team of up to 10 software engineers, facilitating their professional development and skill enhancement.
- Overseeing collaboration with up to 30 external engineering contractors to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
- Collaborating with various GSK Digital Technology teams, product owners, business units, vendors, and strategic partners to deliver continuous value and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Promoting DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and contemporary software engineering practices to optimize project outcomes and cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in leading technology teams and shaping technical strategies.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of modern software engineering practices, with hands-on experience in full-stack development (preferably .NET, JavaScript, SQL, Python) and a solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Significant experience with Agile and DevSecOps principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in API design and integration of commercial off-the-shelf applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following experience will be favored:
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Background in developing AI-driven solutions.
- Experience with data pipelines and tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Experience in creating applications using low-code platforms like Mendix.
