Qualifications- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: Training will be provided
- Operate the cash register with accuracy
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards
- Scan and process items for sale
- Collect payments for goods and services
- Reconcile daily transactions with total sales
- Welcome and assist customers
- Package merchandise appropriately
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor store entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is verified when necessary
- Confirm customer age for the sale of restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco
