About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
