About the Role:
The Island Health Division of Geriatrics is seeking a part-time Geriatrician/Care of the Elderly Physician to join our team of 15 Geriatricians and Care of the Elderly physicians working across Vancouver Island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to a robust service including outpatient and inpatient consultations.
- Rotate through select specialized geriatric services and work with dedicated multidisciplinary teams in all areas, including nurse practitioners.
- Support clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate learners through affiliation with the University of British Columbia Island Medical Program.
Requirements:
- FRCPC or Care of the Elderly qualifications.
