Job Summary:

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of truck drivers to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of equipment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced transportation environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The work schedule will be 35 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
