Job Summary

DASCO Electric Ltd. is seeking a skilled Journeyman/Woman Construction Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables, ensuring safe and efficient electrical connections.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to meet project specifications.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to ensure circuit integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and optimize electrical performance.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on electrical systems and best practices.
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Requirements
  • Electrician Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
