The City of Kamloops is seeking a dedicated Transportation Planner to join their team. This position involves overseeing transit planning, sustainability initiatives, and Transportation Demand Management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transportation plans that promote sustainable urban mobility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address transportation needs and challenges
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform transportation planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, businesses, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Planning with a focus on Transportation
  • Minimum three years of experience in transportation or transit planning

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (summer), 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (winter), 35 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $48.51
