About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Ensure that the sales floor and counter area are well-stocked and clean, creating a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Wrap or Place Merchandise in Bags: Efficiently package and prepare merchandise for customers, ensuring that it is properly secured and ready for pickup.
  • Calculate Daily/Shift Payments Received and Reconcile with Total Sales: Accurately record and reconcile daily sales, ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Setting: This is a permanent position with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
