About the Role

As a Flight Simulator Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our flight training devices. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues within both the simulators and the training facility itself.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to address customer needs related to flight training equipment, ensuring consistent availability and performance.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting of hardware and software problems within the simulator environment, utilizing your expertise in computer architecture and system components.
  • Perform administrative and logistical tasks as required to maintain efficient operations.

Your Qualifications

  • Possess a technical diploma or degree in programming, software development, IT, aviation, or electronics, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of computer and simulator architecture, particularly the interrelationships between system components.
  • Exhibit proficiency in manipulating software to debug, troubleshoot, update, and compile code for flight simulator applications.
  • Possess basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electronic testing equipment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new skills within the flight simulator environment to maintain and operate all required equipment.
  • Exhibit strong customer focus and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Communicate effectively, particularly when conveying technical information.
  • Collaborate effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic technical team.
