Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safe working protocols and practices
  • Engage with the public in a professional and respectful manner
  • Comprehend and follow traffic accommodation guidelines in work zones
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance as needed
  • Possess knowledge of Hot and Cold Mix Asphalt types and their characteristics
  • Understand the operation of grade/slope sensors
  • Assist in measuring and marking utilities as required
  • Operate skid steer and perform shoveling duties when necessary
  • Coordinate with roller operators for optimal raking of joints and seams
  • Handle the loading, unloading, and movement of construction materials on-site
  • Be prepared for a flexible work schedule, including overtime and weekend assignments during the construction season
  • Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
