Project Architect Opportunity

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is working with a reputable architectural practice that values equity and diversity, and boasts an impressive portfolio of projects including public libraries, community centers, universities, churches, heritage buildings, hospices, modern workplaces, and mixed-use residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects, interior designers, and technologists in sustainable design, barrier-free access, and gender-neutral washrooms.
  • Collaborate with OAA architects, interns, and technologists across all stages of projects: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and contract administration.
  • Develop and implement complex building projects, including renovations, new builds, LEED, and heritage projects.
  • Ensure strong OBC and building science fundamentals, with experience in site visits, project reports, and presentations of design milestones.
  • Promote a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's of Architecture degree.
  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience.
  • Preference for fully OAA licensed architects.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign, and some MS-Project.
