Position Overview

At Intelliware Development, you will engage with a skilled team and tackle a variety of intricate custom software projects. Role of the Business Analyst

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in steering product development from initial concept through to launch, working in close partnership with technical leads, delivery managers, business sponsors, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with clients to gather business requirements, documenting them, and converting them into functional specifications.
  • Managing the backlog, prioritizing and updating requirements, and crafting high-quality user stories.
  • Collecting and analyzing business information related to processes and data to clarify business challenges and requirements.
  • Balancing the needs of the business, end users, and technical stakeholders, ensuring all alternatives are explored and implementation trade-offs are understood.
  • Facilitating strong relationships with team members and clients, ensuring a high level of engagement that leads to a shared understanding of requirements, plans, and delivery realities.
  • Ensuring the developed solution meets business functional requirements and is ready for production.
  • Promoting Agile practices and ceremonies within the project team.
  • Assisting in the planning, management, and delivery of project outputs.
  • Identifying potential risks and issues related to project scope and timelines, facilitating or escalating for resolution.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely project delivery that meets client expectations.
  • Working alongside technical leads to guarantee successful achievement of development objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of technology and its applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies in software development.
  • Ability to synthesize diverse business requirements and facilitate practical, sensible solutions.
  • Demonstrated client-facing skills, with a focus on partnership and presentation.
  • Excellent facilitation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
