Position Overview

Amandeep Thind is seeking a dedicated Family Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for individuals requiring personal care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Language Skills

Knowledge of Panjabi; Punjabi is considered an asset.

Work Environment
  • Site: Urban area, primarily within the employer's or client's home.
  • Conditions: Non-smoking environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Manage laundry and care for household linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary.
  • Capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks and repetitive activities.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
