Job Title: Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Mountain View Christian Academy Society.

Job Summary:

The Elementary School Teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of our students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
