Job Title: Department Head

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Head to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that our team is knowledgeable and skilled.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory to ensure that our shelves are fully stocked and our customers have access to the products they need.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure that they are working together effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles.
