POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all operational aspects during the assigned shift. This role encompasses leadership in health and safety protocols, operational efficiency, customer engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, and staff development.
SHIFT DETAILS: Morning Shift ; 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize labor requirements for the shift to achieve production targets within budget constraints. Conduct shift briefings to ensure effective communication of essential information to all team members. Delegate tasks to operators and warehouse personnel, monitoring the time needed for task completion. Prioritize order picking based on urgent shipments and key customers to minimize delays for drivers. Ensure compliance with proper picking and packing protocols, maintaining high-quality standards for all production. Track and report departmental performance metrics daily and weekly through effective KPI monitoring. Approve labor hours daily in accordance with company policies, ensuring accurate record-keeping for employee compensation. Provide ongoing feedback to team members through coaching and conduct performance evaluations, addressing disciplinary matters promptly. Foster strong relationships with customers by understanding their service needs and communicating effectively. Uphold a clean and safe working environment. Execute supervisory duties in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including safety and harassment regulations. Undertake additional responsibilities as required.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

A College Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Logistics Management is preferred, or equivalent experience.
