Located in a variety of regions, the Financial Operations Specialist will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will engage in a comprehensive range of responsibilities focused on invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, as well as financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the Enterprises team, you will:
Provide essential accounting support Accurately post and allocate expenses to the appropriate accounts Ensure the accuracy of received invoices Update financial records with new payments, balances, and customer information Manage vendor setup and ongoing maintenance Review and reconcile vendor statements Reconcile corporate credit card statements, ensuring receipts and postings match Prepare month-end accounts payable reports Deliver confidential, courteous, and professional service Complete additional administrative tasks related to filing, maintenance, and retention of financial records as assigned Ideal Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role or a related field Ability to make informed decisions and exercise independent judgment within established parameters Flexibility to adapt approaches to achieve desired outcomes Willingness to seek assistance or guidance when necessary Trustworthy and capable of working independently while contributing to team success Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Additionally, you should have:
High motivation with a focus on results Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to handle confidential matters and manage sensitive information Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with QuickBooks or BST is advantageous A valid Class G driver's license What We Offer:
