Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store with multiple product categories. This includes establishing short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the store in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, pricing, sales, margin, expenses, and customer satisfaction.
- Assign sales objectives for each department and ensure store goals are met.
- Coach and develop team members, providing day-to-day direction and guidance, including performance management and training and development.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations and requirements.
Requirements:
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in a retail environment.
- 3+ years of prior supervisory or management experience/knowledge of AGLC regulations and requirements.
- Valid ProServe certification.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, work independently, and take initiative.
- Knowledge and experience in wine, spirits, and craft beers/coolers.
- Ability to maintain and grow an extensive customer contact program with current and prospective customers.
- Class 5 driver's license and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Assets:
- Sommelier certification.
- Whiskey and other spirit expertise Mixologist training/experience.
