We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cardiorespiratory care and therapy to our patients.

• Evaluate patients' cardiorespiratory conditions for diagnostic purposes or therapeutic monitoring
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address respiratory issues
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in research and education to promote health and prevent disease
• Prescribe medication as authorized by regulations
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and maintain a safe working environment
• Provide training and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff

• Member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel des inhalothérapeutes du Québec (OPIQ)
• Diploma of college studies (DEC) in respiratory therapy techniques
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in a hospital or CLSC setting
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset
