About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing storage solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on storage solutions and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement storage solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest storage technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our storage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners to understand their storage needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.
  • Contribute to the development of new storage solutions and features, and provide feedback on existing solutions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in storage architecture and design.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing technical resources and teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience managing data pipelines.
  • Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
  • Active in the open source community, such as HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc.
  • Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
