We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drywaller/Finishing Carpenter to join our team at Paul Davis of Red Deer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality workmanship and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform skilled tradesman duties, prioritizing customer service and quality workmanship.
- Develop and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and meet deadlines.
- Apply expertise in finish carpentry, crown moldings, baseboards, casing, door, and window installs, as well as stain matching and painting.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of carpentry skills, including framing, structural work, and drywall.
- Proficiency in technology, including iPhone and iPad.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Mathematical skills to accurately measure materials and budget for estimates.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems, including RMS.
- Safe operation of hand and power tools, as well as ability to work in hazardous environments.

- Perform other assigned tasks as required.
- Ability to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.
- Constant movement around job sites, including stairs, walkways, roofs, and crawl spaces.

- Ability to observe and perceive information on computers and documents.
- Ability to communicate and converse with customers and internal employees.
- Frequent lifting of up to 60lbs.
