Senior Consolidations Manager

Celestica is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consolidations Manager to join our corporate reporting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing the results of 50+ reporting sites and preparing reports for internal and external purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Financial Records: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain multi-currency general ledgers and FX translation in SAP.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with the treasury and tax department to communicate intercompany transactions and reorganizations to sites and ensure proper accounting.
- Perform Monthly Close: Complete the monthly close of consolidated results in Khalix/Longview, including journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and cash flow.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve consolidation and reporting issues, provide guidance to sites, and ensure compliance with Celestica accounting policies and processes.
- System Administration: Maintain Longview database and hierarchies, perform systems testing, and year-end rollover.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze consolidated results and prepare/review reporting for management, board of directors, and parent company.
- Statutory Financial Statements: Participate in preparing consolidated and statutory financial statements with notes, work papers for auditors, SOX testing, external filings, and statistics surveys.
- Process Improvement: Develop new tools or templates in response to new requests or IFRS standard requirements, maintain Business Objects, and other finance databases.
- Experience: 4-5 years in industry, including 2 years of consolidations experience.
- Skills: Advanced IT and Excel knowledge, including macros, strong knowledge of accounting close process in SAP, and experience with maintaining multi-currency general ledgers and FX translation.
- Education: CPA or equivalent.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work with little supervision, manage others, and drive change and process improvements.
