Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding both workshop and field operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork, including safety meeting notes and work orders, as well as routine maintenance checklists.
- Set up, dismantle, repair, and maintain solids control equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues on-site.
- Uphold safety excellence by collaborating with management to reinforce our commitment to safety protocols.
- Support the Precision Rentals team with equipment rig-ups and maintenance as required.
- Perform cleaning, repairs, and painting of equipment.
- Execute other general shop tasks as assigned.
- Be prepared for both camp and non-camp work, including occasional travel.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for overtime as needed.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as front-end loaders, as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Solid mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Current certifications in WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and First Aid.
- Proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
- Highly motivated with the ability to lead by example.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational or technical training considered an asset. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with centrifuge and mud systems, along with mechanical knowledge of centrifuges and related tools.
