Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding both workshop and field operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork, including safety meeting notes and work orders, as well as routine maintenance checklists.
  • Set up, dismantle, repair, and maintain solids control equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues on-site.
  • Uphold safety excellence by collaborating with management to reinforce our commitment to safety protocols.
  • Support the Precision Rentals team with equipment rig-ups and maintenance as required.
  • Perform cleaning, repairs, and painting of equipment.
  • Execute other general shop tasks as assigned.
  • Be prepared for both camp and non-camp work, including occasional travel.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for overtime as needed.
  • Operate heavy machinery, such as front-end loaders, as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Current certifications in WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and First Aid.
  • Proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to lead by example.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational or technical training considered an asset. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience with centrifuge and mud systems, along with mechanical knowledge of centrifuges and related tools.
