Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled General Traffic Manager to join our team at Glen Traffic. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of transportation and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor department's performance to ensure compliance with regulations
- Plan and organize daily operations to optimize efficiency
- Prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions
- Recruit and supervise staff to ensure effective team management
- Train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
- Ensure transport compliance with regulations to maintain a safe and efficient transportation network
- Negotiate for services and preferential rates to reduce costs
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in transportation operations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
