Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Systems Technician to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Corporation. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our building systems, including life safety and security control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all environmental specifications for our manufacturing, engineering, and office spaces are maintained to set points.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot all building system alarms, including building security, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems.
  • Recommend alterations, upgrades, or replacement equipment for building operations, security, and life safety systems.
  • Maintain maintenance and repair logs for all equipment and systems and respond to and complete all building-related service requests.
  • Coordinate external contract maintenance support.
  • Provide backup to the Facilities Coordinator as required.
  • Be available for on-call duty and shift work as scheduled.
  • Perform administrative work as required, such as completion of work orders and maintaining required databases.
Requirements
  • Building Technician Program diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years' experience in a facilities maintenance role.
  • 1-3 years' operating and troubleshooting experience on BAS and HVAC control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automation control theory and concepts.
