We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Heffner Construction Group Inc. as a key member of our fabrication and repair team.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.
- Fabrication and Repair: Fabricate or repair wooden parts, including operating gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
- Maintenance and Quality Control: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and ensure high-quality products are produced.
- Communication and Teamwork: Read and interpret specifications, follow verbal instructions, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals.
- Work Conditions: The role involves repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will require manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
