We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and promoting optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive status, functional abilities, needs, and goals.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to provide patient-centered care and promote seamless quality patient care.
- Participate in approved occupational therapy and interprofessional research, special projects, and committees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
- Knowledge of the COTBC standards of practice and practice guidelines for clinical practitioners.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and members of the interprofessional care team.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
