As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and preventive maintenance.
- Communication and Record Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Security and Safety: Hold a valid passport, basic security clearance, and a valid driver's license. Willing to travel cross-border and overnight.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and working 40 hours per week.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
