Sustainability Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Intern to join our team at Haleon. As a Sustainability Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Responsible Business Strategy and contributing to our efforts to enhance environmental compliance, drive sustainability initiatives, and foster a culture of environmental and social awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and analysis to support compliance and regulatory initiatives.
- Assist in executing the Sustainability Champion Program to drive change management and embed sustainability in our operations.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to support growth initiatives, focusing on retailer partnerships, consumer education, and product development.
- Help administer environmental sustainability awareness and engagement programs, develop and execute an integrated communications strategy, and organize quarterly Lunch & Learns and other employee awareness events.
- Support data management and reporting related to packaging footprint, manage systems for tracking compliance metrics, assist with data collection and analysis, generate reports for decision-making, and track the progress of Responsible Business KPIs.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among different teams to align efforts, track progress, and achieve strategic objectives.
- Must be available for the total duration of the 8 or 12-month contract.
- Enrolled (or graduated within last two years) in a bachelor's program in business, environmental, sustainability, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
- Experience in project management with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
