About the Role

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect, Solutions, and Engineering Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and provisioning new cloud services, engaging with technical teams, vendors, and service owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Service Design and Provisioning: Design and provision new cloud services, ensuring they meet the company's standards and are available for consumption by developers and service owners.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams on proof of concept and limited production rollouts, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Provide quality control on production implementations, ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate operation guidelines and policies to clients, and document technical recommendations and provide technical advice and guidance to management, operations, and project team members.
  • Change Management: Ensure change management processes are followed, and make recommendations to project team members pertaining to issues, risks, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Experience providing leadership to project implementation teams and using service management best practices to implement cloud services within operational processes.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience implementing cloud solutions in a multi-account, multi-cloud environment, deploying Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Cloud Formation.
  • Cloud Certifications: Completion of cloud architecture training, specific with one or more hyper-scale cloud providers, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certifications.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile methodology and ability to assess the impact of technology changes to multiple environments and communicate this to multiple sectors/ministries/departments, senior SA management, and other impacted stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Architecture Training: Completion of cloud architecture training, specific with one or more hyper-scale cloud providers.
  • Cloud Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certifications.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile methodology.
