- Ensure CRM records are accurate and current.
Market Research and Analysis
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscapes to recommend strategic initiatives.
- Develop expertise in the end-product industry through research and networking.
- Utilize industry insights to propose innovative solutions for customer needs.
Internal Collaboration
- Maintain ongoing communication with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to meet customer requirements.
- Assist marketing efforts in creating tools for launching new or improved products.
- Participate in meetings to discuss key accounts and prioritize growth activities.
- Support internal teams as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
Administrative Duties
- Arrange travel as needed while adhering to company policies.
- Complete expense reports as required by the accounting department.
- Exemplify the company's culture, values, and principles.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including product and sales training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- Five to ten years of sales experience in the industry, with a focus on technical expertise in species and feed additives.
- Established relationships within the industry are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects into clients through collaboration and technical knowledge.
- Strong business acumen and customer service orientation.
- Experience with CRM systems and maintaining sales documentation.
- Team-oriented with a self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to ethical professional conduct.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurability.
